This just in, Good People!
Twisp: The Power of Community has been named an “Official Selection” in WRPN.tv’s Short, Tight, and Loose Global Film Festival Competition!
One of the reasons I submitted to this festival was for the opportunity to receive feedback from the judges if the film was not selected. (A learning opportunity. I guess I lost out—because the film WAS selected; but I’m not complaining.) In the meantime, I’ve been sent “laurels” to add to the film’s website and promotional materials…And, voila!
Meanwhile, in other news, I put together a four-minute “out-take” of the women in charge of growing and preparing food for our kids at Liberty Bell Junior High and High School—Laura Wottlin, head cook; Kristy Paul, assistant cook; and Aspen Kvicala, education coordinator at Classroom in Bloom. Their commitment to presenting quality food to our kids is a joy to behold—and will pay huge dividends in our kids’ health as they grow older.
I hope you enjoy watching the short as much as I enjoyed filming and editing it. Thank you, “Cafeteria Ladies”! We are fortunate to have you and Classroom in Bloom inspiring our kids to better health!
